Help us Change Kids’ Health, Change the Future During #ChildrensHospitalsWeek April 6—12, 2020!
Kentucky Children’s Hospital is excited to invite you to support children’s health during Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ third annual #ChildrensHospitalsWeek. From April 6—12, 2020, our hospital will share how you can help change kids’ health to change the future.
During #ChildrensHospitalsWeek, we recognize the importance of children’s hospitals. Children’s hospitals are on the front lines during this time of crisis. Now, they are helping children deal with any complications they may face if they contract the virus.
Kentucky Children’s Hospital has more than 1,000 pediatric health care team members helping children recover from illness and injury, championing families through difficult diagnoses, and working to improve the quality of life for patients and their families through the highest-quality care. These individuals help make Kentucky Children’s Hospital a viable resource for our community.
Our patients can’t wait for tomorrow’s funding solutions. They need help now. By supporting #ChildrensHospitalsWeek we can change kids’ health.
How you can participate in #ChildrensHospitalsWeek 2020:
- Become a social media advocate! Fill out the form at this link. Children’s Miracle Network Kentucky will send you a free Children’s Miracle Network bandage, social media information, and instructions on how to share your commitment to children’s health on your social media accounts.
- Start a fundraising campaign for Kentucky Children’s Hospital, create a fundraiser on Facebook or directly donate to us on CMNHospitals.org/donate to help kids like Kase Chaney.
- Update your social media profiles with a Kentucky Children’s Hospital photo frame (available throughout April).
- Use #ChildrensHospitalsWeek when posting related content on social media.
Additionally, the UK HealthCare Child Life team has been offering tips for families on how to cope during the quarantine. Watch their segment featured on LEX18.
Children’s Miracle Network Kentucky will post information and share stories all week along to celebrate #ChildrensHospitalsWeek. We’d love to share your story as well.
